Start with the sounds. Spanish has just five vowels: short, pure and always the same. Get them right and you instantly sound more Spanish. Then the few consonants that catch English speakers out: the tapped and rolled r, j, z, soft d, ll, ñ and the soft b and g. Pick a sound, get it with the tips, then loop it: listen, say it and hear the two of you back to back.
